RACIAL MATTERS Reference is made to my previous memorandum of today con- cerning the developments in connection with the Anniston phase of this case and my conversation with SAC Roy Moore concerning the need to vigorously press this phase of the case. I, therefore, recommend that we immediately send ten additional men into Birmingham so that we can keep the pressure on our activity at a high pitch. So far we have generated considerable - interest locally in the fact that the FBI is investigating this case and I feel if we are going to come up with results time will be of the essence.
