CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT January 10, 1979 vo: Qe . \ SUBJECT: Billy Carter's Libyan Delegation Goodwill Tour As we discussed last week, I attended the Libyan goodwill tour briefing at the Omni on Tuesday, January 9th. A copy of the agenda is attached. The Libyan delegation consisted of about 20 people from all sectors of the Libyan economy. I am getting a copy of the list of attendees later. My impression was this was more a cultural and goodwill exchange rather than a trading trip per se. I visited with some of their people individually and left a set of our sales information packet with them. I don't know what will come from it in a commercial sense ‘since the emphasis was on cultural and goodwill aspects of life rather than trading. a gre attachmen cc:
