When I came home I joined P.M.A, at that time I felt that Progressive was needed and that I was right in joining it. From 1932 wtil 1941 P.MLA. was getting along well with both the men and the Mine A officials, and there was no trouble of any kind that I know of. "The mine shut down in the spring of 1941, a seasonal shut down and late that summer 4 learned that Elshoff had bought Mine A.
