memdrakdum, for tee record SUBJECT: Project MKULTRA, Subproject 7 1- The scope of subproject 7 is intended to include the vork to be done with LSD end related materials by Dr. Harold A. Abramson at his two facilities for the period ending July 4, 1954. The project will continue to be handled through the Geschickter Foundation for cut-out and cover purposes. The proposal from Dr. Abramson to the Geschickter Foundation is attached to this memorandum. 2. Emphasis will be placed in this coming year on translating the basic data obtained to date into operationally pertinent material along the following lines: Disturbance of Memory Discrediting by Aberrant Behavior Alteration of Sex Patterns Eliciting of Information Suggestibility Creation of Dependence It- is planned to have the second year's work culminate in a compendium of information cn this subject that will resemble an operational field manual as much as possible. All other CD/T33 project data that has a bearing on this subject will be used in the preparation of the manual. 3- The sun of money listed under Dr. Abramson's budget includes work in the fields of brain enzyme work and nerve metabolism to be subcontracted to other- organizations. 4. The finds include" $45,650 for the project at $39,500 for Dr. Abramson's own project, and a ^ service charge for the Geschie-kter Foundation amounting to $1703-00. Therefore, the total cost of this investigation will not -exceed $86,8^3.00 for the period from July 5, 4953 to July 4, 1954-. G po
