Th& Student Mobilization Committee to End the War in Southeast
Asia controlled by the Trotskyite Socialist Workers Party and its youth
group, the Young Socialist Alliance, reeently sponsarcd a national student
antiwar conference in New York City. College and high school students
attending the Conference rejected thc 6-week antiuar activities agreed
upon earlier by representatives at the World Pcace Assembly in Versailles.
These activities have been endorsed by the Pcoplcs Coalition lor Peace
and Justice, thc. National Welfare Ri&$s Organization, the Defense Commit-
tee for Angela Davis and the Berrigans, and other national left-wing organi-
