C, The local chapter of the-American Indian .Defense Committee, ' made up of members from the Youth Against War and Fascism (a mili- tary and violence prone communist front group), are planning a demonktration in L a y e t t e Park on 28 April at 1:OO p. m. American Indian Movement. Reportedly, plans for the demonstration are still being formulated and the total n known at this time. The purpose of the demonstration J is to gain support for the - 28-29 April, New York City, San Francisco, and Toronto The Worker Action Movement; a front group controlled by the Progressive Labor Party, has scheduled three regional conventions for the above dates. Recently announced convention sites are New York City, San Francbco, and Toronto. The WAM are callirig the meetings with the hope of making "30 for 40" a new 1eft;wing cause.
