A detailed file review and analysis / of available source materials relating to the earlier bombings aN have been undertaken, A on incorporating this material 1s in preparation, Inspector advises this analysis will develop additional suspects and witnesses; disclose logical leads for interviews of persons with possible knowledge of bombing incidents; and disclose other pertinent information concerning suspects or witnesses which can be used as a wedge to encourage their cooperation, The far reaching investigation to determine the source of the components of the bombs is being pressed. ’ Continuing pressure is being exerted on the prime suspects invoived inthe bombing of the Sixteenth Street Baptist Church in which four Negro girls were killed. Some excellent informants have been developed among close associates of the suspects and efforts are being made to develop more.
