CHAMBLISS denied being involved in ‘aby bombings: “
in the Birmingham area, and stated he has ro direct
knowledge of amy of them other than that afforded through
news coverage.
CHAMBLISS furnished what he stated was his best
recollection of his activities during the pertinent periods
of bombings occurring since the May 11, 1963, bombing of the
residence of Rev. A. D. W. KING and the Gaston Motel on that
day. .
These agents again attempted to interview
CHAMBLISS on October 29, 1963, at his place of employment,
Rebuilt Auto Parts Company, 1508 Grd Avenue South, Birminghan.
He showed a hostile attitude and furnished little information
except criticism of the FBI.
