Racial informants and potential racial informants
of the Mobile Office were contacted on 9/15/63, but could
furnish no information concerning instant bombing. They
were alerted to immediately report any information they may
obtain in the future pertinent to this matter.
Interviews conducted with the persons on the Mobile
bombing suspect list and members of Klan and hate type
organizations, including former Klansmen, have been con-
ducted, but no information of vaiue to this case was de-
veloped through these interviews. In accordance with the
Suggestions of the Birmingham Office, the original FD-302s
for these interviews are being maintained in Mobile file
with copies of FD-302s in the individual case files of the
persons interviewed, where such files exist. As the inter-
views were negative in results, the FD-302s are not being
included in report being submitted by Mobile.
