veer edi ie ree ey aR leary eA a nn i i ie a IIR ee el RRM BH 157-352 a ennai On May 25, 1964, the morgue of "The Birmingham News" was checked and a copy of "the newspaper for April 23, 1950, was noted to carry an article on the front page relating the facts of a bombing which had occurred the previous evening. These facts were that a private dwelling located at 1100 Center Street, Biymingham, was partially destroyed by what was believed to be a dynamite blast on the previous evening. The house was owned by a Negro contractor named B, W, HENDERSON and oeccunied Se ee ee ee ee ee ear ar ee Rae eT ae ae Se Er ee es by ROY TERRY, a thirty-two year old Negro who lived downstairs, and DOROTHY KINDRED, a Negro female who occupied the upstairs with her two year old child. The newspaper account stated this bombing apparently resulted from a zoning dispute being carried on in that area for a number of months and was the latest of a series of bombings which had occurred in that neighborhood. The following investigation has been conducted to identify and obtain background information on the following possible suspects in this bombing prior to conducting actual interviews;
