He said that U. S. District Judge iClarence Allgood has been in touch with Il. &. Attorney Maleaolm Weaver. Judge Allgood said particularly there are three 4 rumors which should be "squelched" as follows: (1) The FBI knows who bombed the church but is making no arrest. ~~ . f # (2) A child stumbled on a nitroglycerin bottle near the church and set] _ off the 9-15-63 blast. a (3) A Negro janitor at the church has been arrested by the FBI in connection with the bombing.
