Re Birmingham airtel to Bureau dated 5/13/68.
SUMMARY
Investigation in this case this week developed
information that WILLIAM ROSS KEITH, former member of
Eastview Klavern #13, UKA, a marginal suspect in this case
and close associate of primary suspect in instant case,
died the first part of May, 1968, from various illnesses
with which he was plagued for several years. KEITH had been
interviewed on many occasions in connection with this and
other related bombings with only limited success, It has
long been felt that he was not directly responsible for this
bombing put did participate it diversionary . tactics in
connection with at least one other bombing.
It is not known at this time whether his death ma
induce anyone to talk concerning this case, but that possibility
/|- . will be explored.
