Spee Dear Sirs: Those convicted through Abscam may be as guilty as sin, and I hold no brief for them. However, I protest on principle the FBI in any way tempting a person to commit a crime that he might not otherwise commit. The FBI has the honorable mission of investigating crime, but never of inducing anyone to commit crime. I hope that this sort of thing will be stopped and never done again.
