Dear Mr, Young:
Thank. you for sending me the material about Judge
Webster's speeches which I have how concluded reading. I was
especially grateful for the Variety clipping which spells out
your curre nvolvement with various television projects. Since
an seems to be doing something in the genre in which
as interested, I would like to shift my emphasis to another
project which has indicated more than a passing
interest in. TI am referring to the time when Melvin Weinberg was
involved in an art theft con for the FBI. Attached is a copy of
an article I read in the October 26 issue of the Washington Post :
magazine in Rudy Maxa's column. Mv
I am planning on coming to Washington within a week or
10 days and would appreciate your locking into this matter on our
behalf. Any background information you can provide me about this
episode will be greatly appreciated. I will phone you when my
travel plans are more concrete. Again, thank you fof your coopera~
tion and I look forward to meeting with you when I in Washington,
D.C.
