(79-24165) According to a memorandur from ur, G. C, Gearty to Mr. H. H. Clegg dated February 23, 1951, fepresentative Gore 8ppkecatia luncheon sponsored by the Exchaage Club, Memphis, Fennessee, on February 20, 1951, Gearty and the SAC of the Memphis Office were guests. The talk of Representative Gore wee tn connection with crime prevention week and he was very Commendatory tn his comments concern ing the Director and the Bureau. He stated that the Director in hia opinion was the world's greatest leader in law enforcement ‘and that the Bureau was the country's leading law enforcement organization.
