not do so. On February 13, 1950, the Atomic Energy Commission advised that -_
Einstein has never been granted a formal clearance by the Manhatten Ingineer
District which means that he was never investigated by MED and that no formal
clearance was ever granted to Einstein by the Atomic Energy Commission which
means that the AEC has never requested the FBI to conduct an investigation as __s
ll required under the Atomic Energy Act. No Bureau investigation has ever been
conducted on him. He is, and has been a professor of mathematics at the
Institute for Advanced Studies at Princeton Tniversity.
