Eabasay Report dated September 9, 1948, Warsaw, Poland, entitled
“Censorship, War-Mongering and False Reporting in Poland". On pages
21 and 22 of this report under the eubheading "Refutation of False
Reports on Professor Einstein's Message" the following is quoted: “Owing
to the fact that some American newspapers have published false reports
Intellectuals has been twisted, Jersy Berejsze, Secretary Seneral of
the Congress sent the following explanation to Par {\)
"(1) On August 26, Professor Julian Huxley, Chairman of the
Congress, read the original of Professor Einstein's letter of July
greeting the Congress, The text of this letter has been published. (7 g/
"(2) By a decision of the Presidium, Professor Einstein's

Toledano's) were not read to the Congress but were attached to the
minutes of the Congress on the understanding that they will be published
