Subjects .-: - possibly made good escape by utilizing homemade raft. ; oo, A confidential source in USP indicated Subjects would attempt to reach Angel Island located to north of San Francisco Bay from penitentiary and then cross Raccoon Strait to effect escape through Marin County, California. Source indicated Subjects would then attempt to steal automobile and perpetrate burglary or robbery of shopping center clothing store. CLARENCE ANGLIN, FBI #4731702, is described as WMA; born 5/11/31, Ruskin, Florida; age 31; 5'114"; 168 lbs.; medium build; light complexion; hazel eyes; light brown hair; tattoo "ZONA left wrist, "NITA" right forearm. JOHN WILLIAM ANGLIN, FBI #4745119, brother of CLARENCE described as WMA; born 5/2/30, Ruskin, Florida; age 32; 510"; 1ho lbs.; medium build; blue eyes; blond hair; small scar left side of cheek, round scar on forehead. FRANK LEE MORRIS, FBI #2157606, is described as WMA; born 9/1/26, Washington, D. C.; age 35; 5'74"; 135 lbs.; medium build; hazel eyes; black hair; tattooed star on each knee, 7 over 11 left knee, devil's head upper right arm, star base of left thumb, number "13" base of left index finger.
