FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGA ») popene 15, 1962 was interviewed @ e Coast Guard Captain of the Port's Office, Pier 45%, San Francisco, advised as follows: BIL, He was on duty aboard US Coast Guard Cutter #40385 on the evening of June 12, 1962, cruising the San Francisco Bay on patrol duty. After several trips around Angel Island at approx- imately 10:15 p.m.. he observed an object in the water approximately 100 to 200 yards off shore between Point Stuart and Point Knox on Angel Island.
