CLARENCE ANGLIN said I should have the blankets
up as they were going to store some beer up there.
A week: or so later I told JOHN I was going up on
B cell block again to paint some more. JOHN said
he still wanted me to leave the blankets up as he

explain further nor did I inquire. Later on I
went to JOHN ANGLIN and said I'd have to take the
blankets down as the officials might ask me about
them. JOHN said he was going to try to 'beat the
Joint,’ meaning escape, and I left the blankets
where they were.
