room and now claims that he furnished subjects with approximately
350 raincoats, which he took from clothing supplies, and that
subjects used the raincoats to build a raft which they used
in their escape, the building of which raft took some six
to eight months. The raft was it would hold air and
could be pumped up. He stared MME -Iasks to believe
the subjects successfully made e , and that they
are alive. He stated further rat el: telling that
the subjects, as part of their plan before escaping, stated
they were going to leave debris at some point strewn
about so that it would appear they dad and drowned.
According to the information given subjects planned
to start their escape from the back o @ powerhouse building
and carry the raft by hand to the beach and then travel to
Angeli Island and walk down the beach carrying the raft to'
.@ point where they could cross over to Susquelsana. Then
planned to pull one b ry and "take off.”
