IP 145-107 is going to release obscene material to the institute plus the fact that obscene material addressed to the ‘institute received from foreign countries is being held by Customs in New York, it is obvious that the institution is receiving obscene material. The Burea is requested to authorize interview with the officials of the institute at Indiana University. It is the intention of the IP Office if such an interview is authorized, to attempt to secure the cooperation of these officials in furnishing information concerning sources of obscene material. It is also planned that they will be questioned concérning their knowledge of the source and suppliers of obscene material in the United States and to determine if violations of the ITOM statutes are occurring.
