. - ¥rom a very delicate and confidential source, I hare
teen advised that on February 19, 1928, a conference was held under the
suspices of the All American Anti-Imperialistio League, at the Labor Ten-
ple at 243 cast a4th Street, Hew York City at which there ware about four
hundred persons present, eighty of whom were delegates vith credentials
from over fifty different Labor Unions and Societies. The main purpose
of this conference wan to consider mans anc ways of meeting the Wiocarag-
wan Situation and to cetablish a permanent branch of the All Amer,
Anti-Imperialistio Leagues in New York,

and ; Apscoiate Editor of “The Hation", Marmoel Comes trans-
bated the speech made by Scaratee Sandino. Every speaker denounced tha
policy of the United States Government in regard to Nicaragua, Pailip-
Pines, Porto Riso, eto.
At the conolusion of the speeches, Manual Comes re~
ported on the activities of the All American Anti-Imperialistis. League
and on the conference held by this League on February 18, 1926, at which
the program for the conference held on the 19th of February was prepared.
