A source on December 1, 1964 cum iened the following
report on the appearance of ARNOLD,JOHNSON, Staff Member, Communist
Party, USA (CPUSA), at Philadelphia, Pa,, on November 21, 1964,

On November 21, 1964, ARNOLD JOHNSON spoke before
@ group of students on the topic of peaceful coexistence.
The speech came as part of a program, "Communism <
Principle and Practice," which was one of a number of
Saturday Opinion Forums sporsored by the Friends Peace
Committee and the American Friends Service Committee,
Mr. JOENSON was debating the question of "Resolved -
that the United States of America cannot p<
