RE: NATIONAL POARY WORKERS ASSOCIATION SYMPATHY DEMONSTRATION AT & & ¥ POOD COMPANY 3350 NORTH KEDZIE AVENUE, CHICAGO, ILLIXOIS, MAY 23, 1966, IN SUPPORT OF STRIKING DELANO Cr rade | ‘ CALIFORNIA, KIGRANT GRAPE PICKERS on May 23, 1866, advised that the boycott against DiGiorgio Corporation products at the 8 & W Food Company Warehouse, Chicago, began at 7:00 AM on May 23, i866, and ended at 4:00 Pil, that date when the warehouse closed for the evening. The peak of the demonstration was shortly before 9:00 AM when an estimated 60 pickets were participating. Most of the pickets left before 9:00 AM and a skeleton force ranging from four to six pickets remained until the warehouse closed for the evening, at which time the remaining pickets disbursed.
