80 _ APPENI Article 6 No person, military or civilian. shall be permitted to cross the visional military demarcation line unless specifically authorized 1 so by the Joint Commussion. Article 7 No person, military or civilian, shall be permitted to enter demilitarized zone except persons concerned with the conduct of administration and relief and persons specifically authorized to by the Joint Commission. Article 8 Civil administration and relicf in the demilitarized zone on ¢ side of the provisional military demarcation line shall be the resp bility of the Commanders-in-Chief of the two partics in their re: tive zones. The number of persons, military or civilian, from each who are permitted to enter the demilitarized zone for the condu civil administrauon and relief shall be determined by the respe Commanders, but in no case shall the total number authorize either side exceed at any one time a figure to be determined 5) Tring Gia Military Commission or by the Joint Commission. number of civil police and the arms to be carried by them sha determined by the Joint Commission, No one else shall carry unless specifically authorized to do so by the Joint Commussion. Article 9 Nothing contained in this chapter shall be construed as limitin: complete freedom of movement, into, out of or within the de tarized zone, of the Joint Commission, its joint groups, the £ national Commission to be set up as indicated below, its inspe teams and any other persons, supplies or equipment specifically thorized to enter the demilitarized zone by the Joint Commis Freedom of movement shall be permitted across the territory ihe military control of either side over any road or waterway w has to be taken between points within the demilitanzed zone + such points are not connected by reads or waterways lying compl within the demilitarized zone.
