1515 Cherry Street, Philadelphia, Pa., which stated in part as
follows:
"GEORGE LAKEY left Philadelphia on October 11 to
be Vietnam projects leader for A Quaker Action
Group and a member of the crew of the Phoenix.
After consulting on AQAG business in Tokyo and
with members of the Phoenix crew in Hong Kong, he
went to Saigon to make final arrangements for a .

Church of South Vietnam. In two sailings from
Hong Kong the Phoenix pians to deliver supplies
to all three parts of Vietnam during the next
two months.
"GEORGE is on temporary leave from Upland Institute
where he teaches. BERIT LAKEY and CHRISTINA remain
at 3711 Spring Garden Street.
"LAWRENCE SCOTT recently returned from Hong Kong,
. Phnom Penh, and Saigon, epoke at the last Meeting
> = =" fon Business of having been in Hong Kong with the
new crew of the _Phoenix: BOB EATON; Captain, 23;
BERYL NELSON, 233 JOHN BRAXTON, 19, and KYOKO
KODA, a Japanese girl, 25. The Phoenix, carrylng
medical supplies to Vietnam, is about to make its
~ gecond voyage and will soon be sailing into the
teeth of the Seventh Fleet.
