Washinrton, D. C, the vast , summer-which were attended
by D.C. school teachers. She stated thrt she had been
advised by some of the teschera who had attended one of -
the seminars that the speaker devoted most of-his time
pointinys out the unfairness of discrimination and hirch-
lighted his sneech by a tale of a lynching which took place
in Texas, stating tnat when the Negro fled in great numbers
to evoid being lynched the white neovle finally refused to
allow eny more to leave in order to make certnin thet there
would be enough Necroes left to operate the laundries, The

before which several white children were playing and he
pointed out the fnct th-t the picture did not have eny colored
children in it, qe advised thet this sopeared to

orizinelly all the versons were of one race and that some day
@ll the races will be again intesreted forming one race.

House Committee on Un-American Activities reflected that
waa a spvonsor of the Culturel and Seientifie
Conference for World Peace held in New York Clty on Merch,
25, throush Merch 27, 1949, This organization, she reported,
was cited by the House Committee on Un-American Activitles,
She further stnted that sne hed been informece. that
