The above report further indicates thit during 1953,
the United States Government contributed surplus commodities
enounting to $223,632.45 to the LFSC.
The "Condensed fnnual Report" of the #FSC for the
year 1654, previously mentioned, sets out the following exvend-
itures for the LFSC during the year 195:
“The fFPSC svent 83,100,000,.CO in 195k, contributed
by some 70,0006 individuals, and by foundetions and
governnents, In addition, we distributed 2,933,000, cc
worth of food end clothing.
The above revort further indicates that the United
States Government vas vaving $04 of the cost of the ATSC's
program in India.
In Sevtember 1954, T-2? advised thet the /FSC
received funds for its overations from the religious Society
of Fricnds end serants from the Ford "oundstion and the Rockefeller
Foundation.
