Noubeorgor, Humphrey, Gruening, Byrd and Randolph, in the 86th Congress, Ist Sossion,
introduced Semete Resolution 150 on July 24, 195%. Although no action wes taken on
the resolution, it at least gives on indication of the aren which Congress is ine
terestcd in studying. Tho bill called for the establishnent of a Select Committce

toking into accowmt the fact that an internatianal disarmasent agreement would ine
vole readjustments in ow nation's defense policies, the extent to which defcase
prosurenent currently affeots the economy and the steps that might be talren to
