This update summarizes information obtained from numerous laboratory notebooks belonging to various researchers and found in either the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Disease (USAMRIID) library or in the individual researcher's office or space. Details: Numerous notebooks with entries from various USAMRIID researchers were reviewed. Numbers were assigned by the USAMRIID library to all laboratory notebooks issued to Principal Investigators. These notebooks were reviewed to identify any individuals who had access to Bacillus anthracis (Ba) Ames and were not already under investigation, previously-unknown places where Ba Ames was stored, people within USAMRIID or people and places outside USAMRIID to whom Ba Ames was distributed by this research group, and any other details of interest.
