The sample was placed in the airlock of B-3, where SA retrieved the sa le and placed it within another ziploc-type container, sealed it with evidence tape, and transferred it to the custody of on_01/30/200% saL____] retrieved the then irradiated sample from[__—iand transported it to suite B-5, where IVINS set up two (2) blood agar plates and one (1) liquid culture to check the irradiated sample for viable organisms. The irradiated sample was resealed with evidence tape and secured in room until such time as the viability check was confirmed. On 02/02/2003, IVINS contacted SAL |to advise that for inactivation by gamma irradiation. oor fan ~J¢ The transfer of evidence was dosumented with a "Receipt of Property", FD-597, which is stored in the FD-340 section of the file. The certificates of irradiation and non-viability were submitted to the 1A section of the file.
