KIDNAPPING
Specimens received December 8, 1980
05-06 Two electrical cords
K1-K2 Two pliers
Result of examination:
The cut ends of the Q5 cord bear some limited microscopic
marks of value for comparison purposes. However, these cut ends are
not sufficiently characteristic to determine the type of tool (s)
utilized. Purther, nothing was found to associate Q5 with either
of the Kl or K2 pliers.
The manufacturer of the Q5 and Q6 cords cannot be determined.
However, due to a difference in the extrusion marks on Q5 and Q6,
it was determined that these two cords were not mace on the same
machine.
The age of the @5 and Q6 cords cannot be determined.
The submitted items are being returmed to your office
