U.S. ATTORNEY'S OPINION
Assistant U.S. Attorney Howard Weintraub was
contacted December 18, 1980, and concurred in the use
of these devices. Be advised these children are witnesses
and not suspects in this case and do not have standing
to object to the gathering of evidence in such a manner. ~
Weintraub advised the fact the children are minors, makes
no difference in this matter. ;
It is expected that additional meetings between
QE and the children will be productive. It is requested 7 J,
