Patrolman, Atlanta Police Department ;
{APD}, was contacted at the office of the Special Task Force,
advised of the identities of the interviewing Agents and
provided the following information: ~

22, 1981, at the prigge shere Georgia 280 crosses the Chattahoochee
River. He was located in his vehicle on the south end of
the bridge, just south of a liguor care il rking 1
the west side of Georgia 280. He heard call Ghiis
on the radio and ask if there was a car $s kee ° ridge
as he had just heard a loud splash and had seen car lights
stopped on the bridge.
Stated that at that time, he observed a a
white station wagon exit the south end of the bridge, proceed IC
slowly through the liquor store parking lot and then proceed
back across the bridge towards Interstate 285 (I-285).
WD ste he saw no other cars on the bridge and that
ad been three to sev inutes since he had last seen
a car on the bridge. ED =:-:<2 he saw the wagon from
. the time ited the Bridge until he and Special Agent (SA)
stopped on the southbound side of I-285,

stated that within the station wagon, he
noted the rear seat was down and in the load area were empty
boxes and plastic bags.
