Examination of “peturn address area on face of envelope appears to have previously listed return address which had been written in pencil and which was subsequently erased, and the name “Bobby Doe" added over the erased impressions. On 4/29/81, Special Agent (SA) pe wT? Se wey 1 1 = U.S. Secret Service, Los Angeles, California, was advised of the enclosed letter, -and on 4/30/81, Special. Agent Los Angeles, Secret Service, obtained a copy of the letter. REQUEST OF THE BUREAU The FBI Laboratory is requested to determine if enclosed items bear similarities to any previously known letters received: for examination and to examine the return address area of the envelope in an effort to determine writing impressions which have been erased. The Identification Division is requested to determine if any latent fingerprints are on the envelope or enclosed letter. Additional leads being left to the descretion of nta and the laboratory is requested to return the enclosed S upon completion of examination to Atlanta. f4e > t1 te a > FE - 2% - LIE
