It also _ appears that SRECHT contributed articles to the March 1942 issue. This magazine is knom to this office as the official publication of the Free German Comittee, Hexico, D. Fe This Comittee operates Ei] Libro — Litre (The Free Book), a publishing house in Mexico which gets out this megazine. It is further known that the Freo German movemer.t has as its alm the establishment of a postwar Geraan goverment favorable to Soviet Russia. it 4s conducted by various well known Communists or persons with Comurist ineli- nations, including OTTO KATZ, mentioned above as an alleged OGPU agers. Tue Free German Comittee in Nexico is the fountainhead of the movement in the Western Hemisphere. It has recently been learned that some of the indivicuals active in this movement have indicated a desire to return to Europe or Germany as soon as possible, where they will no doubt carry on thei> ectivity at — closer range. As will be seon later, BERT BRECIT is one of the incividusls who has indicated an intention to leave the United States for Europe. In Los Angeles, BRECHT is associated with LION FEUCHT-ANGER, HEINKICH MAK, and HANHS ZISLER, German refugee writers with Comznist inclinations in the Free German movenent.
