SOURCE f |
This source reported surveillance information to the effect that on
June 16 GXRGOkI KHEIFSTS, previously described, visited the residence of BUXT
BkECIT from 2 to 3:50 p.m. What transpired during this visit is unknown.
Thie source advised on June 6 that BEAT BuSCHT and HANNS TISLZH had
conversed with BOhES (first name believed to be JOHUS), then Crechoslovaxian
Consul at San Francisco about the possibility of obtaining Czechoslovaxien
passports. This informant advised that BKECHT and SISLEx are already oon~
cerning thenselves with an early return to Europe, They apparentl, believe that
possession of Csech passports will facilitate their trevel, particularly their
departure from this country. As @ result of this conversation, it appeared that
Crechoslovakian passports would be issued to BRECHT and [ISLEx once a decision
to that effect had been made by the Crechoslovarian Governnent, and that such a
decision would depend on the ability of SK'CiT and “ISLE! to show thet they
would be an asset perhaps in a cultural way to the future Crechoslovaita.
This informant subsequently advised reporting agent that +t the time
‘of this conversation between BRICHT, “ISL’h, and BETES, BEECHT and PISL“S, in
respouse to a sugrestion that possibly they would have to cot exit visas from
the United States Government, indicated astonishoent at this and then resarked,
“ell, the border is close by."
