In response to Los Angeles teletype dated March 21, 1947, it was ascertained that the service record of Sergeant PATER HV SICHER, maintained at the Twenty-eighth Division Instructors Office, Harrisburg, Pa., reflected he was assigned to Camp ‘icClellan, Alabama from Fort Robinson, Arkansas on July 19, 1946. He left Caio McClellan on January 28, 1947 and reported to the Twenty-eighth Division Headquarters, Harrisburg, Fa., on February 6, 1947. He is presently assigned at the Senior Instructors Headquarters, lllth In- fantry, P. 0. Box 18, Washington, Pa. He was assigned to Headquarters, Company #1, IRTC, while at Camp McClellan until January 10, 1947, when he was carried ~ on the records as attached until January 28, when he left for Harrisburg. The only furloughs reported are - Novenber 27, 1945 to February 25, 1946 May 13, 1946 to June 2, 1946 July 19, 1946 to August 11, 1946 The information as noted above was brought to the attention of | the Fittsburgh Office by teletype on March 25, 1947, said teletype incor- porating the information received by this office in Los Angeles teletype of March 21, 1947, along with the fact that the Bureau, by teletype of March 2h, 1947, had authorized the investigation, as was requested by Los Angeles.
