C., it sets forth that plaintiffs COVINGTON, HAIRSTON, KENNEDY, LYNCH, NASH, SMITH, t at the "People's House,” HAGENS, and DOUGLAS were presen May 27, 1969, with plaintiffs ALFORD and LANEY arriving while the raid was in progress. However, the suit sets forth that some thirty or forty law enforcement officers were present during the raid. A portion of the above information is included in memorandum at Charlotte, North Carolina, dated July 24, 1969, captioned "BLACK PANTHER PARTY, CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA, RACIAL MATTERS." A characterization of the Black Panther Party (BPP) is attached as an appendix to this memorandum.
