The BPP has never settled its past due account with
the telephone company, and as a result the BPP members utilize
a pay telephone which has been installed at the headquarters
building.
During November, 1972, the party ordered or received

operate on a cash basis and through the use of bank money
represents a substantial reduction in the number of papers
sold during November as compared with October's sale. This
reduction could logically be attributed to the fact that
the Pantter members were busy soliciting donations from
local businessmen for their upcoming December Survival Day
Rally. The Panther members continue their policy of
traveling to various cities throughout the State of North
Carolina to sell their ppapgrs.
Source reported no further information concerning
the Winston-Salem BPP Chapter being named beneficiary of
a $7,000 insurance policy on one of its former members,
JOSEPH E, WADDELL. The chapter members received word on
10/25/72 that the party had been named the beneficiary of this
policy.
During November, 1972, the Panther members continued
in their efforts of soliciting food for the Survival Day Rally
being planned for 12/72. The date for this rally has again
been changed and is now scheduled for 12/17/72, the original
date.
