You didn't raise them with white liberals. You just didn't raise these kinds of questions. The whole ideology of integrationism was assumed to have answered all of the kinds of questions of a political, ———— «theoretical nature that black people should be interested in. I think that what happened when STOKELY and them first raised the question in a popular context of black pcwer nationalism, is that we saw then that there were various other kinds of questicns that we did have to deal with.
