Deputy Sheriff Joe Everett stated that the sheriff wes out of town
when the writer celled but Mr. Everett said that no warrant had bean issued for
the theft of this car and none was issued inasmuch as it was their opinion that
the car had been stolen by some representative of the Barrow gang and as there
are several warrents out for their arrest for more serious charges they do not
feel that it is necessary to issue « warrant at Madill for this offense. “verett
stated, however, that they would ecoperate with any officer in causing the ar-
rest of any member of the Barrow gang or would make the arrest themselves if the
opportunity presents itesalf.
