REFERENOE: Report of Special agent D. W.Beantley, Kansas City, Missouri, August L7, 1935, DETAILS: General C, HB. Black and Major Clay M. Donner were interviewed at the headquarters of the Illinois National Guard located at Springfield, Illincis. They caused the records of the Illinois Rational Guard to be searched to determine whether or not the guns listed in the report of reference had been stolen from the Armory of Company E, 129th Infantry, They stated that their records show that Company B of the 129th Infantry is located at Plattville, Illinois, and that mail reoived at Plattville goes through the Yorkville, Illinois Post Office. They stated that the Amory at Plattville was burglarized on april 19, 1935, at which tine Colt automatic Bemis 45 calibre, 7575995, a72294, #257489, 505915, and 435167, were stolen; st the same time Browning sutomatie rifles f252660, #252152, and #261620, were stolen.
