He said that in the spring of 1944 DONALD MAC LEAF was assigned t) the British Embassy in Washington, D.C. and upon arrival in this country, MELINDA MAC LEAN went immedlatcly to DUNBAR'S farm in the Berkshires at Egremont, Massachusetts. @ According to Sages MELIND/. MAG LEAN remained at this farm during the entirc year of 1944. DONALD MAC LEAN visited at the farm whenever he could gct away from Washington, which SQ described as about onec a month. stated that he wes in Washington, D.C. quite fre- quently during this time ; but he said he never met any associates of DONALD MAC LEW there. ®@
