intelligence agents here were
ordered by their Paris head-
quarters to-day to question
Mrs. Melinda Maclean about
the reported receipt of a
message from her husband,
tif’ missing diplomat, Donald
Maclean.

children arrived at Beauvallo
on August 17,
There have been reports
that she had disappeared
from her villa for several
days, but the Intelligence
Units spokesman said that
she had spent every night at
the villa.
Phone removed
Mrs. Maclean was there last
night as usual, he sald, and
added: “We know where she
is at all times.”
People who -telephoned Mrs.
Maclean's vilia to-day were
told that the telephone had
been removed,—Reuter.

Office to-day denied reports
that Donald Maclean and Guy
Burgess had been found.
“There was no foundation,”
sald a spokesman. “for the
suggestion that the Foreign
Office were about to make a
statement.”
