A advised he had been reading an article in "The Reporter" magazine » dated December 23, 1952, which article was captioned "The Case of the Missing Diplomats" Page 28. He said that he and his wife had seen the subjects on a Tuesday, the exact date unknown, but recalls that it was before July of 1941. stated that the subjects were English and driving a sports car throurh LaSuerche-Pe-Pretagne, France. QM stated that he felt. foolish in coming to the FBI Office to give such a small amount of information, but offered this information for what value it may be worth, He scid that. the sicht of anv Englishmen in this particular part of France was not cormonnlace and that, therefore, he sincerely believes that these two men were the subjects, He seid that he has no further infermation on the subjects. .
