This re- portedly arose from the recomnendations of the Privy Councillors in the White Paper. The new statement of policy on security procedures is based on a Parliamertary written reply by the Financial Secretary of the Treasury on 1/29/57. A copy of these new security procedures taken from Hersard (Government publication reporting Parliamentary Debates) was forwarded to the Bureau by Legat letter 2/5/57 in the matter entitled "British Security." .
