The book goes into great detail ooncerning the college life of both men, showing bow they were communi in college. It details their careers and attemp€s to show how their obvious faults were overlooked, - fhe book is extrenely critical of MI-5, MI-6, and the Brit: Poreign Office for alleged mishandling of the case. The author claime that Burgess was tipped off by a friend an MI-5 of Maclean's imnendine interview and probable arrest.
