This organization is the New Orleans affiliate of a national group known as the United Farm Workers of America, which organization is headed by Caesar Chavez and has been involved in calling for the national boycotts of lettuce and grapes. At Approximately 1:15 p.m. on May 15, 1975, 18 individuals consisting of males and females were observed to picket in front of the federal office building at 701 Loyola Avenue, New Orleans. These pickets consisted of approximately six blacks and the remaining persons were white. They carried placards which read “JOBS NOT WAR" and "GET OUT OF CAMBODIA." The picketing was orderly in nature and was kept under observation by building guards. The picketing continued until approximately 1:45 p.m., at which time the pickets gathered their signs and left the area. No incidents were observed or reported; however, during the picketing interviews of observers as well as épme of the pickets were conducted by a local television station.
